I was driving to the grocery a few days ago when I ran into a road construction detour. I immediately noticed a sign at the site that said, “Keep-Omaha-Moving.com”. I suddenly felt the Lord’s presence come into my car. I could sense His heart for our city and region. I had an impression of Holy Spirit blowing upon His marketplace apostles, business leaders and ministry leadership. I heard a still small voice say, “city of promise, city of resource, city of provision”. I knew the Lord was affirming Omaha as a storehouse and a place of refuge to the nation.
It feels as if the road construction that is going on in and around the city has kept us in perpetual transition over the past 10 years. It’s an image of God’s desire to bring us into transformation and expansion. He is singing the Miracle Worker song over our torn-up streets; “And even when I don't feel it, You’re working, You never stop, You never stop working.” He’s definitely keeping us moving!
It’s time to move and for His apostles and prophets to arise!
The apostle and prophet are being restored into the church to move us forward; re-opening the knowledge and mysteries of God. Paul said in I Corinthians 4:1 “This is how you ought to regard us: as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the mysteries God has revealed.” The apostle and prophet act as stewards of the mysteries of God in order to equip the saints. These five graces shift the church into action and forward movement. Apostles and prophets are the gift of Jesus to the bride. They are being called forth to unlock and open up realms of revelation, so the body can move up and out; coming into new realms, going deeper, higher, wider with the Lord.
These two graces release destiny, helping the church to advance and move forward. It’s time to move! The apostles and prophets are movers, reformers, transformers and builders. Jeremiah 1:9-10 “I have put my words in your mouth. I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”
Apostles and prophets are part of God’s 5-star moving company. They are coming forth now to help the church to advance. We are moving from a church mindset into a kingdom mindset. The apostle and prophet will point the church to the on-ramp that leads to the highway of holiness. It’s moving time ... keep-Omaha-moving.com.
