What if God is about to disclose those areas in the personal and coorporate life of the church that needs correction and redemption? The word “disclosure” means-an action of making new or secret information known.
There is a wave of disclosure coming; revealing and washing away hidden stain before a fresh move of His Spirit is released.
Jeremiah 1:10 speaks of the Fathers heart through the prophet: “Today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”
He has to uproot in order to re-build and plant. This is a serious, yet powerful hour we are living in. God’s prophets will be a key element in facilitating and moving the body of Christ from spiritual immaturity into maturity.
God’s heart is to disclose and expose those little foxes in our lives that spoil the vine (Song of Songs 2:15).
It is those small, hidden habits and behaviors that need to be disclosed to us and before God; so that we can confess, repent and be drawn closer to the Father’s Heart in this hour.
God also wants to bring forth healing to those places in our soul of past pain and offense. The strongholds in our heart and soul must be uprooted; bringing us into greater levels of love and authority.
Disclosure is on God’s heart! The disclosure of sin and imaturity in and around His people will bring forth a release of the hidden man, “Jesus” through God’s people.
When Jesus Christ, the Spirit of prophecy is revealed and present in our lives there will be an obvious shift; selfishness will turn to selflessness, anger to peace, gossip to honor, backbiting to encouragement, jealousy to joy, competition to teamwork, dishonor to honor, disunity to unity and rebellion to submission. When Jesus is truly present in our lives, the world will know it. We want the full measure of Jesus to be seen in and through us.
Watch God’s prophetic people begin to give irrefutable evidence of Jesus in and through their lives. I believe that Revelation 19:10 “The testimony of Jesus” will be what people see in an end-of-days generation.
The witness of the fullness of the spirit of prophecy is when we testify of Jesus; body, soul and spirit. It says in 2 Corinthians 2:18 “We can all draw close to Him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil, we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into His very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another.“
So, as we cooperate with God in this hour; letting Him disclose what is not of Him in our lives; we’ll reflect His glory-which is Him-His Son. Those who seek Him will find Him. The church is moving into a season of being clothed in the tangible presence of Jesus; tabernacling with Him.
During the Christmas season the enemy always tries to throw me off my schedule; I am sent into distraction and busyness; into an entertainment mode and sometimes into depression and loneliness. This year I am finding myself acutely aware of some areas of orphan thinking that need disclosure; over sensitivity and wanting to isolate myself at times. Many people struggle during the holidays for a variety of reasons which steals their joy and the life of God in them. Howerver, Christmas also brings great opportunity to focus on God’s ability to heal our hearts and to love through us in great ways.
I recently found myself sharing the love of God with a troubled young women who manicured my nails. I find people are really open to God’s love during the Christmas season. That enounter pushed me outside of myself; focusing my heart on Jesus, the One in me who loves people. At the same time I am trying to allow moments alone with God; letting Him clean house where needed.
Don’t be afraid to allow God to disclose and bring to light strongholds, specifically those hurts centered around family and the holidays. Allow the Holy Spirit to show you the roots of negative mindsets so they can be pulled out, bringing forth life.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” NKJV. Make note and grab negative thoughts-replacing them with the Word of God.
I love this quote from Donna De Silva’s book, “Shifting Atmospheres” (page 50), “So many Christian’s live in fear when the reality of hell cowers at the Spirit of God within them. The Bible says creation waits for the sons and daughters of God to be revealed (Romans 8:19). When we figure out who we are and whose we are, we become Christlike-an unstoppable force that batters the enemy ranks.”
God wants to clean the house of our hearts; bringing forth the Man Jesus and glory we were intended for. I am not advocating navel-gazing; only that we open ourselves up to Him and pay attention to mindsets that still our joy and life in and during this next season. With “Advent” comes an event-the disclosure of the Man Jesus.
